Comparative National and Global Assessment (funded by Grand Challenges Canada). The overall aim of this study is to develop consistent and comparable national, regional, and global population-based quantification of the economic impact of early childhood adversity. The three objectives are as follows:

  • Estimate risk factor exposure in national populations;
  • Quantify the effects of risk factors on early childhood development in national populations; and
  • Estimate the economic impact of risk factors in national populations.

AAPH contributes to this consortium that also includes Harvard T.H. Chan School Public Health, Imperial College London, Aga Khan University and Ifakara Health Institute, Tanzania.
